🎁 ⛄ 🎄 🎊 ❤️ 🎁 🎇 *A Festive Night of Camaraderie and Communication* *Mahakavi Tamil Bilingual Toastmasters Club Meeting – 25/12/2025* On the night of *25th December 2025*, the Christmas festive cheer gracefully made its way into our *Mahakavi Tamil Bilingual Toastmasters Club* meeting. It was a special evening made memorable by the presence of distinguished Toastmasters from across District 102 and beyond, who brought both spirit and substance to the roles they played. The evening was presided over by our *General Evaluator, D102 PQD Kajamugan DTM*, who gently steered the evaluation segment with festive leniency, reflecting the joyous mood of the occasion. The *Timer role* was diligently performed by *TM Kavitha Chidambaram*, President of Chennai Tamil Toastmasters Club, who also brought along her club member *TM Jawahar Padmanaban*, contributing efficiently as the *Ah Counter*. Our own Club President, *Yasotha Arumugam DTM*, took on the *Language Evaluator* role with flair, enriching the meeting with her insights into the beauty and precision of language. A standout moment of the night was the sharp and witty Table Topics evaluation by *D102 DAM Sajni Dharamdass DTM*, who dissected the impromptu speeches with precision and humour. The Table Topics session itself was masterfully led by first-time Table Topics Master and our club member, *Dr Duraimuthu*, who handled the role with poise. The only prepared speech of the night, titled *"King... Kingdom"*, was enigmatically delivered by *Master Alagan Govindan*. Centered on the theme *Carpe Diem*—seize the opportunity—the speech reminded us to rise to the occasion, even when thrust into situations unknowingly. His speech was evaluated by none other than our *charismatic Division E Director, Dr Saraswathy DTM*, whose feedback was as inspiring as it was instructive. *Heartfelt Thanks to Achievers Mind Academy & Achievers Youth Club* I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to *Master Alagan*, Founder and Proprietor of *Achievers Mind Academy*, for graciously inviting me as a *Special Guest and speaker* on the final day of their impactful *3-day residential camp* for children and youths. This unique camp, which focused on essential life-building elements such as *Yoga, concentration, focus, self-esteem, friendship, and character development*, was a commendable initiative. I was also honoured to have facilitated the participation of *two deserving youths from Rawang Seva Gurukulam (RSG)*, sponsored by RSG President *Mr. Rathakrishnan*. Their involvement truly symbolised the spirit of community upliftment and support. It was deeply heart-warming to witness the young participants joyfully and confidently sharing their learnings and personal reflections from the camp. Their energy and honesty while speaking in front of their proud parents reflected the positive impact this program had on them. For me personally, having the opportunity to speak to these bright young minds was a moment of fulfilment. I shared with them a simple yet powerful *"Formula for Success"* drawn from motivational books, life experiences, and valuable lessons I've gathered along the way. It was also gratifying to hear *Master Alagan & another esteemed speaker Rtd Professor Dr Doraimuthu* *(both members of Mahakavi Tamil Bilingual Toastmasters Club)* promoting about Toastmasters Program and Youth Leadership Program to the 60 odd participants, facilitators and parents there. *YLP Follow-up Session – A Night of Inspiration and Growth (04/12/2025)* Despite the relentless downpour and massive traffic congestion, the spirit of learning and commitment shone brightly. A commendable number of *Youth Leadership Program (YLP)* students and their supportive parents made their way to attend the much-anticipated follow-up session, organized by *Mahakavi Tamil Bilingual Toastmasters Club* in collaboration with *Achievers Mind Academy*. A total of *43 participants* turned up. Demonstrating courage and enthusiasm, *six YLP participants* bravely took on the challenge of the *Table Topics session*, effectively conducted by *Veera Manoharan, DTM*. Their impromptu speeches were evaluated by *TM Master Alagan*, who provided insightful and constructive feedback, offering valuable tips for improvement. The audience was thoroughly entertained and educated by *Grammarian Dr. Duraimuthu*, whose humorous take on the evolution of the Tamil language struck a chord with everyone present. He shared how Tamil continues to adapt to modern times while encouraging us to preserve its richness. As part of empowering the next generation, the *Timer role* and *Ah Counter role* were entrusted—after proper guidance—to a YLP participant and one of the parents, giving them firsthand experience of Toastmasters leadership roles. The evening ended on a high note with a *group photo session* featuring all attendees, Toastmasters, and the Achievers Mind Academy team—capturing the unity, energy, and excitement of the event. A truly inspiring night that marks the beginning of many more leadership journeys!
